Jason K. Jensen is a certified paralegal and licensed private investigator in good standing. Through his 14 years as a paralegal he obtained the necessary skill to become a licensed private investigator.  Mr. Jensen obtained his private investigator license in 2007 and opened his own detective agency shortly thereafter. 

Since 1994, Mr. Jensen has dedicated himself to investigating criminal and civil claims for defense firms and civil action attorneys.

Prior to May 1994, Mr. Jensen interned for an Assistant Salt Lake District Attorney.

Unlike private investigations from a law enforcement background, Mr. Jensen showcases unmatched legal talent from his vast understanding of the law through countless hours of legal research; document and trial evidence preparation; and witness interviews. The firms he worked for practice in the areas of criminal defense, civil rights, contracts, employment and family law, business law, and personal injury.

Mr. Jensen is an insurance agent licensed through the Utah Insurance Department.  Also, Mr. Jensen is a member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, dedicated to promote the fair administration of justice. See UACDL.

Mr. Jensen touts being a military veteran having served in the armed forces from 1986 to 1992, including the 1991 Gulf War. While onboard the U.S.S. Juneau (LPD-10), Mr. Jensen distinguished himself receiving three Navy Achievement Medals and by becoming the most junior petty officer ever to receive the coveted surface warfare specialist. In a single enlistment he advanced from an E-1 to a second class petty officer by passing the E-5 with a 100% test score. Being a beacon is what Mr. Jensen is used to, he still behaves that way today.

Our Business

Despite becoming a private investigator, Mr. Jensen's first love has and shall always be the law.  This business was created due to his unwillingness to forget his love for the law.

We are a team player.  We work hard for attorneys to meet deadlines, to supplement light staff.  We do contract work for lawyers, including legal research, motions, pleadings, and other attorney work-product that may be delegated ethically. 

Jason Jensen is a proud member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (UACDL).

The UACDL is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting and protecting justice by supporting the defense of the constitution and the rights of individuals.

UACDL carries out its mission by organizing educational programs for people involved in the criminal defense field, informing the public on criminal law issues, providing its members a forum for exchange of information, and teaming up with other organizations that promote the fair administration of justice, namely the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, to which UACDL is an affiliate.
